The artist's name is Kyle Wyley, and he's a hometown boy from New Mexico who's try- ing to live his dream of be- coming a nationally ac- claimed musician and song- writer. Having left college, his ranching family and his home state of New Mexico behind for the bright lights of Nashville in 2000, .aspir- ing singer Kyle Wyley quickly began learning his way around the country mu- sic business. Scott Senca arrested Rod- jrick Jerome Thomas, 24. 813 S\\ 10th Street Aug. 26 and. charged Thomas with grand theft auto and driving whilee his li- cense was suspended, according to the Suwannee Count. Sheriff's Office (SCSO.) At approximately 4:39 p.m. on Aug. 26 Cpl. Senea received a notice to be on the lookout for a stolen vehicle from the Gainesville Police Department. He stopped a vehicle matching the description and with the same tag number on US 90 just east of CR 417. A check revealed that the driver,- Thomas, was driving and his license had been suspended. Thomas was arrested and transported to the Suwannee County Jail. His bond was set at $3.000.When a bond was set, Thomas posted bond and was released. Woman charged with possession o( less than 20 grams of marijuana Suwannee County Sheriff's Deputy Junior Smith arrested Chantal Mane Akins, 26. 9224 133rd Place. on Aug. 27 and charged her w ith possession of less than 20 grants of marijua- na. According to the SCSO. at approximately I a.m. Aug. 27 Deputy Smith was dispatched to "The Club" in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival he wvs told Akins and another per- ,_.n had be.ep involved in the disturbance. After entering "The lub' and asking Akins to come outside, Deputy Smith said she attempted to remove a small plastic baggie from her per- son and throw it into the trash can, according to the SCSO. The baggie was found to hold a small amount of marijuana. according to the SCSO. Akins \ as arrested and transported to the Suwannee Coun- ty Jail where bond was set at S1,000. She was also found to have an open warrant in Hemando County' for child support. After she obtained bond, she was released, according to the SCSO. Man charged with possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana Suwannee Counly Sheriff's Deputy Brian Barrs arrested Ntauro Ortiz Salinas, 22, 11660'US 129. on Aug. 27 and charged him with posses- sion of less than 20 grams of marijuana, according to the Suwannee SCSO. At approximately 12:38 a.m. Aug. 27 Deputy Barrs ob- served a blue Che\ role traveling north on LIS 129 that was be- ing driven erratically, the SCSO said. After stopping it. his K- 9 alerted him there could be drugs in the vehicle. A search re- vealed that the passenger, Salinas. had a small bag of marijua- na inside his door. the SCSO said. Salinas was arrested and transported to the Suwannee Coun- ty Jail. Salinas posted bond and was released. The people are- incredible here. I call it a 'big small town,' because everybody seems to know. everybody and it doesn't take long to get a good net- work of friends going. It's been really good to me." So good, in fact, that Kyle is already preparing, to re- lease his second album. It'll be mostly made up of songs he wrote himself, either alone or with co-writers. "I'm finding myself right now, and I love the fact that I'm capable of putting down those feelings on paper,", says Kyle, who describes his style as "driving and crazy and funny., I get 'em.laugh- ing, get 'em dancing, and' then just drop 'em, with a great ballad!" Kyle has been consumed by, the urge to entertain since his childhood in New Mexi- co, and that's exactly what he wants to do in his music- nothing more, nothing less. "I'm.not making a state- ment," he says. "I'm not.try- ing to prove', anything. .I don't say'anything political, I don't say anything about' religion.
