James R. Conway, 18, has been charged with aggravat- ed battery in the case. According to the Calhoun County Sheriffs Office, Dep. Chris Porter was dispatched to a home on Aultman Drive July 21 in reference to a 911 hang up call. Upon arrival, Drug bust Jr., 23, of Miami, was 'charged with accessory to the sale of cocaine.. According to the Calhoun County Sheriffs Office, a buy/bust drug investigation was conducted Friday after- noon involving the two sus- pects. An undercover team purchased $200 worth .of powder form cocaine from the pair. After the transac- tion, a traffic stop was attempted and the suspects failed to stop. A vehicle pur- suit 'ensued, winding from 11th Street to Hwy. 20, then Chipola Road to Hwy. 71 South. From there, the men took C.D. Clark Road to County Road 69 in Hugh Creek where they ended up on Cooper Road. The teen advised he had been stabbed repeatedly by Conway who was armed with a pocket knife. Paramedics arrived and treated the boy for four punc- ture wounds to his back and one to his head, arm, cheek, and neck. The boy advised Conway had been picking on him the day before and said he didn't know him until that time. Several witnesses were present when the alleged assault occurred.
