But it's likely the Raiders will switch to 5A-6, slated to have seven teams. If that is the case, based on recent history, those extra two schools would be Lake Gibson and George Jenkins. The Terriers were in the same 5A region as Plant City and Durant, and played the Cougars in last year's regional final. The new assignments will be handed out Dec. 3. Then schools can appeal their placement if they so choose. Barring that or anything else unforeseen, the new districts will not change for the next four years, meaning the Plant City vs. Durant game won't have an impact on the post- season until 2009 at the earliest.
