 Henry Johnson, the league's
 president, couldn't be reached
 for comment.
 Jim McDaniel, the city's
 community development
 director, communicated with
 Johnson, via fax, Nov. 23 and
 asked for some specific
 information that would help
 untangle any misunderstand-
 ings.
 He told Johnson that Spark-
 man had questions regarding
 the project budget, the
 amount of funds netted by the
 league -from fundraising
 efforts, the ability of the league
 to secure bank financing to
 support the project, and pos-
 sibilities for grant support.
 McDaniel also told Johnson
 'that he reported to the com-
 mission that an application
 would be made by the league
 for state support. The dead-
 line for the application is Dec.
 15.
 McDaniel told the commis-
 sion he was not aware of the
 league's financial commit-
 ment to the project. He rec-
 ommended the commission
 defer action on the agreement
 until the next.meeting after
 hearing a report from the.
 league.
 'The commissioners agreed
 by a -voice vote to delay action
 -until the Dec. 13 commission
 meeting. -

 Bush of Tampa; a sister, Lois
 Bailey of Destin; three grand-
 children; and two great grand-
