tions are invited from engineering
and architectural firms or individu-
als to render complete profession-
al services, including, without limi-
tation, airport planning, preliminary
and final design (including design
testing and surveying), engineer's
reports, contract documents, con-
struction testing, construction ad-
ministration, inspection and resi-
dent engineering, and related pro-
fessional services to accomplish a
grouping of construction, recon-
struction, expansion, and renova-
tion projects at the Cross City Air-
port, including, but not limited to:

1. Airport Master Plan
2. Master Drainage Plan
3. Economic Development
and Marketing Plan
4. Fuel Form
5. Terminal Apron Crack
and Joint Sealing
6. Airport Business Park
Development
7. Hangars and other Air-
port Structure
8. Pavement
rejuvenation/repaving and any
other related services needed for
the Cross City Airport
9. Handling issues dealing
with FDOT and FAA

The scope of each project will be
negotiated with the successful firm
or individual as the need for the
project arises, and will be accom-
plished on an addendum basis to
an individual contract. The agree-
ment to be entered into between
the County and the successful
firm or individual will be a continu-
ing contract, as defined in FS Sec-
tion 287.055 (2)(G). The firm or
individual selected by the County
to perform these professional ser-
vices will be required to satisfy the
County's DSE requirements. In-
terested firms or individuals are
requested to indicate their interest
in these services by submitting
seven (7) duplication packets on
or before 3/24/09 at 11:00 AM to
Clerk/Auditor Dana Johnson of
Dixie County, Dixie County Court-
house, 214 NE 351 Hwy, Cross
City, Florida 32628. Submissions
will be opened at the BCC meet-
ing room on 3/24/09 at 11:00 AM.

Presentations and ranking will be
at the BCC meeting room on
3/26/09 at 1PM before the Cross
City Airport Advisory Committee.

This letter of interest must be ac-
companied by past experience in
similar types of projects. Among
the factors the County will consid-
 er are the capabilities, personnel,
 and experience of the firm or indi-
 vidual. The County intends to cer-
 tify from those firms or individuals
 submitting a response to this invi-
 tation a final selection, pursuant to
 the .County's procedures and the
 Florida Statutes.

 In accordance with FS Section
 287.055 (10), the County declares.
 that all or portions of the docu-
 ments and work papers prepared
 pursuant to this invitation shall be
 subject to reuse by the County.

 Bronson Warns Consumers About Stimulus

 Money Scams

TALLAHASSEE -- Florida Agriculture and Consumer Ser-
vices Commissioner Charles H. Bronson is warning Florida
residents not to fall for scams involving federal government
stimulus dollars. Numerous scams are surfacing, some at-
tempting identity theft and others seeking an "advance fee"
payment.

Consumers are being spammed with emails promising stim-
ulus money grants or offering to help them qualify for stim-
ulus funds. One email claims "Congratulations! You've been
selected to receive a FREE Stimulus Check in the amount of
$613.27!" Consumers are asked to provide their bank ac-
count numbers and other personal information in order for
the money to be deposited into their accounts; but, instead,
con artists drain their accounts or steal their identities. In
some cases consumers are told they must pay an advance
fee for a grant or that they can obtain a list of economic
stimulus grants for a fee. The email requires the consumer
to send a cashier's check or requests the consumer's credit
card information.

"It's clear that criminals are preying on the public's despera-
tion and using the stimulus plan to con people out of their
hard-earned money," Bronson said. "They should just delete
these emails as quickly as possible and understand that the
federal government is not providing stimulus money over
the Internet."

Bronson points out that the government does not charge
people to apply for grants and information about grant pro-
grams is provided for free.

Anyone who thinks they may have already been victimized
should report the scam to the Federal Trade Commission.
