Pastor Wayne Allen and brother Skip Lynar left Friday, along with 12 oth- er preachers and laymen, on thier mission trip to Mexico. They only got as far as Talla- hassee before the diesel bus sprang a huge transmission leak. Transmission fluid was pouring out in a flood! What to do? They added a little bottle of transmission treat- ment, then everyone disembarked and prayed hard over the engine. Within 30 minutes, the leak had stopped-and they made it all the way to.Mexico without another glitch, praise the Lord! In Mexico, as a result of their preaching on Sunday, 27 people were saved. We await, with excited anticipation, many more great stories upon their return next week. We thank Brother Darrell Mitchell for steppin in during Pastor Allen's absence. He preached a great sermon from Luke 19:1-10, teaching that no matter how insignificant you feel, Jesus notices you! God knows everything about you and your situation, so, even when you feel worthless, you are of great value to God. Brother Benny Valentine sang two beautiful, heartfelt songs of worship and brother Ju- nior Roberts led the services. We are delighted to welcome Les and Rachel Miller back from their summer in Ken- tucky--we missed you! Ms. Evalina Fowler was taken to the hospital on Sunday: we are all praying for her.
