She has recently joined with Girl Scouts to encourage the Uniquely ME program, also supported by Dove's Campaign for Real Beauty. "I feel like our young girls need to be taught that beauty is not only about outside beauty, but about inside beauty as well. Girls begin to struggle with their body image around age 12-14. This is a time when these girls need role models to show them what real beauty is about. Otherwise they get very consumed in only the outer beauty." The winner will go on to represent Ocala/Marion County in Miss Florida. "As a local girl competing for Miss Ocala/Marion County, I will also be representing the Tri-County Area, so any support locally would be greatly appreciated." Cross City Dental, PA Stephen M.
