Log Cabin Quilters
 The Log Cabin Quilters met Thursday, March 3rd at the Levy
County Quilt Museum. We want to thank the newspapers in our
area for all they have done for us since October 7, 1983 when we
became a club. Terry Whitt from the Citizen covered us for many
years as well as Wanda Rader and now we have Mike and Ken
who come out when. we need them. Marian Blitch who works for
the Levy County Journal is doing a great job as well as Karen
Voyles and Gary Kirkland from the Gainesville Sun. However, it
was Gary who came over in 1995, wrote and article about us
needing a log house builder, someone read it, Bob Busch called
and became our builder. We have always been grateful for Gary's
article.
 We have kept all the articles as part of our attempt to keep the
.history of the museum. Again thanks to the Citizen, the Journal
and Advocate, the Beacon and the Williston Pioneer for helping us
with all our weekly articles.
 Quilting goes on each week as our members from Illinois will
soon have their quilt finished and we can start another one. They
usually quilt two while they are here for the winter.
 Next Thursday we will have about 40 from then Villages who
 want to come over and visit and have lunch with us. March and
 April will be a busy time for us and we do enjoy all our visitors.
 Lunch included chicken & dumplings, sweet potato casserole,
cabbage casserole, fresh bread, lots of salads and oh such desserts!
