110 OUT IN THE WOODS.

 

 

HERE is a picture nearer home. These children
have a half holiday, and are spending it in the
woods. They have not forgotten to take their
baby brothers and sisters with them; and as the
little ones are tired, they are taking a rest.
Henry wishes his sister Alice to blow very hard
upon the white feathery head of the dandelion
seed, to see if their mother requires her at home ;
but Alice is a little afraid, in case it should be
true, and this makes them all laugh very much.
