Pe went with his aunt to the Baker
» Street Bazaar to buy his presents for
Richard and the gardener. He was very
sorry he had not asked them what they would
like best before he left home, for he found
it so difficult to settle what to carry away,
among all the things he saw. The bazaar
was like a large shop, just as Annie said, full
of shopmen and shopwomen, with a quantity
of paper and string ready to wrap up the
parcels,

“Now,” said his aunt, “you may walk
where you choose and look about you; but
take care and don't touch anything.”

Tom put his hands behind his back, that
he might be sure not to do so. His aunt
