Levy County Deputy Joseph Sabbag stopped Sean Thomas Wheeler, 30, of 5711 64th Ave., Pinellas Park, for traffic infraction just outside of Bronson. Sabbag learned that Wheeler was driving with a suspended driver's license. Wheeler was placed under arrest and a search of his person revealed $900 in cash in his right front pocket. Wheeler said there was nothing illegal in the vehicle he was driving, however it was registered to Joseph Causey of St. Petersburg. A small compartment on the keys opened and allegedly held six green oxycodone pills, a Schedule II narcotic. According to the arrest report, Deputy Sabbag also observed an expandable baton, often used by law enforcement as a protective weapon, which Wheeler should not have been in possession of because he is a convicted felon. In a satchel in the backseat, Sabbag allegedly found two prescription bottles, one of Xanax and the other of oxycodone, both prescribed to Wheeler, as well as small, plastic, hand-packaged bags full of oxycodone. In the front glove compartment, an alleged $2,500 worth of counterfeit $20 bills was found. Wheeler's bond was $30,000. Naked man tells firemen he was robbed at gunpoint Alachua County sheriffs deputies contacted the Levy sheriff's department about a man wearing only tennis shoes approaching the Archer Fire Department claiming he was robbed in Levy County. The victim told deputies he received a call in response to a personal ad he posted on Craigslist. He and the suspect, Robert Edward Hughes, 20, of 10370 N.E. 81~' St., Bronson, agreed to meet at the Archer Kangaroo store late Friday night. According to the arrest report, Hughes picked the victim up at the Archer Kangaroo store and drove to Levy County, near Marlboro Country Estates subdivision, near N.E. 130t"1 Ave. Hughes then ordered the victim out of the truck. Once outside, Hughes allegedly pointed a rifle at the victim and told him to take off all his clothes. When Williston arrests 79-year-old inappropriately grabs Winn-Dixie employee A 79-year-old man was arrested and charged with simple battery and lewdness after allegedly grabbing the genitals of a Winn-Dixie employee. Neal Arnold Young, 18461 N.W. 141st Ave., Williston, allegedly approached a male Winn-Dixie employee and asked for a kiss and told the victim he loved him and attempted to lean in for a hug. According to the arrest report, the victim pushed Young away and said he did not want to be touched. At that point, Young allegedly reached open-handed and grabbed the victim by his genitals. The victim told Young to leave the store, and he left immediately. According to the report, further investigation revealed there have been several other unreported incidents of the same nature involving the defendant and young male store employees. * Marcia Angela Barrett, 50, 3434 S.W. 165", Ave., Ocala, at 10:13 a.m., May 20, on a warrant. The victim told police he was afraid he was going to be shot in the head, but when he was about 30 yards from Hughes, he turned back and saw Hughes picking up his clothing and property. He then walked to the Archer Fire Department to seek help. Deputies were able to track Hughes using the phone number he gave the victim when responding to the Craigslist posting. Hughes was arrested at his home on Saturday in possession of the victim's driver's license and keys.
