Fields moved to Old Town from Orlando 13 years ago. She was a Catholic and a devoted mother. She is survived by her daughters, Ashley Eurtle and Amanda Eurtle, both of Trenton; mother, Lucille Kline of Trenton; father, Art Rancourt of East Hartford, Conn.; brother, Arthur Rancourt, Jr. of Port St. Lucie; sister, LuAnn Rancourt of Seattle, Wash.; step-sister, Abby Clemons of Mottville, Conn.; and step-brother, James Clemons of New London, Conn. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. today at the Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Joseph McDonnell officiating. Arrangements were placed under the care of the Rick Gooding Funeral Home, Cross City. BOBBY PERRYMAN Bobby Perryman, 52, of Lake Wales died Friday, March 14, 2008 in Dunnellon. Born Oct. 10, 1955 in Williston, he had lived in Chiefland. He was a glass glazer and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He enjoyed his family, collecting antiques, hunting and the casino. Survivors include his wife of 10 years Mary Perez Perryman of Lake Wales; son Robbie James R. Perryman-Baynard II of Chiefland; daughter Angela Marie Perryman of Lake Wales; stepdaughter Raquel L. Perryman of Lake Wales; mother Erlene Cutchens Douglas of Lake City; brothers Randal L. Perryman, Jimmy E. Perryman and Sammy L. Perryman all of Chiefland; sisters Joann Perryman of Chiefland and Jana Jones of Auburndale and three step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father James. J. "Billy" Perryman. Visitation will be from 6-8 .p.m. Thursday, March 20 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. "SAM" PEAVY Willie J. "Sam" Peavy of Old Town passed away Friday, March 21, 2008 at the Lafayette Health Care Center. He was 85. Peavy moved to Old Town in 1982 from Hallandale. He retired from Winn Dixie Stores where he was the manager of the meat market. He was a member of the McCrabb Baptist Church. Peavy is survived by his daughters, Penny Hunter of Old Town, Pat Peyton of Deerfield Beach, and Sandra Peavy of Old Town; sons, Richard Foster (Joyce) of Moultrie, Ga., Wayne Foster (Bettie) of St. Cloud, Johnny Foster (Martha) of Old Town and Robin Foster (Dawn) of Old Town; brother, Floyd Peavy of Mobile, Ala.; 17 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the McCrabb Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Cecil Hysmith officiating. LOLA JEAN WOOD Lola Jean Wood of Steinhatchee passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008 at the Evergreen Woods Nursing Home in Spring Hill. She was 66. She was born and lived her lifetime in Steinhatchee. She was the former owner and operator of the Steinhatchee Nursery and Lawn Service. She was a member of the Baptist Purity Church of Salem. She is preceded in death by her father Rudolph Wood and brother, Samuel Wood. She is survived by her longtime companion, Hugh Yancey; mother, Myrl Wood of Steinhatchee; son, Ray Parker Jr. of Inglis; daughters, Anissa Erickson of Spring Hill and Rebecca Oglesby of Steinhatchee; brothers, Herman (Edwina) Wood of Steinhatchee, and Ed Wood of Melrose; sisters, Gae Dudley of Venice, Ena Reed of Perry, Wanda Ellison of Steinhatchee and Sue Miller of Gainesville; and 10 grandchildren. He was 55 years old. Mr. Beckett lived in Williston for the past 40 years and worked at Williston Peanut as a bagger. He was preceded in death by his sister, Penny Joe Beckett. He is survived by his mother, Francis Puckett of Williston; his brothers, Danny Beckett of Tennessee, Wendell Beckett of New Mexico, and David Puckett of Williston. Born in Akron, Ohio, Fruth moved to Old Town from St. Petersburg 16 years ago. He was a correctional officer for the Department of Corrections. He loved living in Old Town where he enjoyed fishing. He will be missed by his friends and family. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dian Fruth of Old Town; daughters, Cynthia Vasquez of Mt. Knauff Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. VIRGINIA ANNE ENGERS Virginia Anne Engers of Cross City passed away Sunday, March 23, 2008 after a long illness. She was 67. She taiught math with the Dixie County school system for 27- years. She then became Vocational Director and later became Director of Human Resources for the school system. She retired in 2007 after 36 years of service. She was president of the Dixie County Rotary Club, worked with the Guardian Ad Litem Program and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cross City. She loved to read and travel and was devoted to her grandchildren. She is survived by son Jeff Engers of Boynton Beach; daughters, Sammi Sanz of Gainesville and SheilaNichols of Orange Park; brother Carson McLeod of Cross City; four grandsons and one granddaughter. Services for her will be held Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 3:30 pm at the First Baptist Church of Cross City with the Rev. Mike Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Cross City Cemetery. JOHN A. SISE John A. Sise, 31 of Ocala, passed away in Daytona Beach on March 23. Born in Hqllywood, Fla., he moved to Ocala from Las Vegas in 2004. He was the owner of Wholesale Furniture Brokers in Ocala. He enjoyed sports and was a referee for the Marion County Youth Sports. He enjoyed his family and friends and was a proud single parent to his five-year old daughter.
