The farm activities are from 10 a.m.-lp.m. both days with wagon rides, craft activities, food and self-guided tours of the 1880s working farmstead. Soil, water board to meet The Levy Soil and Water Conservation District Board will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Thursday, Feb.1 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the USDA Service Center in Bronson. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. Manatee Springs State Park will be continuing the popular Friday morning ca- noe and kayak trips through the last week of March. "Visi- tors are seeing more manatees than last year," Lieb said. The paddling trip departs from the canoe ramp in the park at 8:30 a.m. and is lim- ited to the first 10 boats.
