By TIM KIRBY tkirby@lakecityreporter.com FORT WHITE - With eight seniors on the Fort White High basketball team, coach Isiah Phillips had a hard time getting them playing time. He found the right com- bination, as the Indians beat Trenton High, 69-56, for Senior Night on Monday. The visiting Tigers proved pesky, as Fort White led 16-15 at the end of the first quarter thanks to a late 3-pointer by Jachin Alexander. In a streaky second quarter, Fort White had a pair of 7-0 runs around one of the same total from Trenton. Fort White led 33-27 at the half. It was still tight, 48-43, at the end of the third quarter before Dustin Stout led a fourth-quarter blitz with 14 of his game-high 28 points. The Indians improved to 6-9. Stout is a senior, as is Chandler Kitzman, who also hit double figures with 11 points. Other senior scorers were Alexander, 5, Alex Gilmer, 4, Roy Blake, 3, and Zach Lewis, 2. Kyle Raulerson and Chris Griffith settled for senior introductions.
