 Robert Meyers, a certi-
fied business analyst and
area director for the Small
Business Center for the
North Florida University
Center for Business
Development Assistance, is
the scheduled speaker for a
business workshop hosted
by SCORE.
 Scheduled to be from
11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
on Wednesday in the
Guangdong Restaurant
at the Lake City Mall,
the workshop is to be on
"Business Planning with
Financial Emphasis."


 The cost of the. work-
shop is $15. Tickets may
be purchased at Florida
Crown Workforce, 1389
U.S. Highway 90.
 Meyers graduated from
the University of Oklahoma
and then joined the U.S.
Army.
 "Career paths can be
funny," he said. "I never
thought while flying a heli-
copter in Vietnam, I would
be counseling small business
owners on bank loans."
 He has been involved
in sales, finance, market-
ing, product development
and computer information
systems.
