integrate the P-8A into its MPRF force. From the P-8As
first flight in 2009, to initial operational capability in
2013, to the entire P-3C fleet being replaced by 2020,
every facet of the evolution was covered. The brief dis-

America recognized retired Navy Capt. Michael Groody
and Cmdr. Ray Art with the 2010 MPRF Lifetime
Leadership Awards for their career pursuit of advanc-
ing the MPRF community and all those with whom they
worked with during their distinguished careers.
 The reunion concluded with a flight suit social recep-
tion at the NAS Jax Officers Club. During the reception,
the 2010 Fleet Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Rodeo
Challenge Belt was presented to Combat Air Crew 3 of
VP-45, for obtaining the highest score in the Fleet ASW
Challenge. The Fleet ASW Challenge is an opportunity
for the top combat aircrews from each squadron to demon-
strate their ASW prowess.
