CPRW-11 Sailor supports Operation Iraqi Freedom

E 1C Robert Torres of Commander,
 yPatrol and Reconnaissance Wing
 SEleven (CPRW-11) returned home
Tuesday after an eight-month deployment
to Iraq through the Navy's Individual
Augmentee (IA) program.
 There are currently nine CPRW-11 IA
personnel deployed around the world in
support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
and the global war on terrorism.


 Torres was assigned to a liaison team
of Multi-National Division Central South
(MND-CS) in Southern Iraq. MND-CS is
a Polish-led division with more than 1,500
coalition force personnel.
 Torres was part of the intelligence and
operations watch team where he dissemi-
nated critical battlefield information to
different agencies and elements that are
supporting OIF and the global war on ter-
rorism.
 He began his assignment in early June
2007. Upon returning home, Torres happi-


ly greeted his newborn daughter, Makayla
for the first time. Torres and wife, Milagros
are also the proud parents of daughters,
Bianca and Nicole.
