 Hearing to Consider an

 Amendment of the

 Comprehensive Plan

 for the Town of Bascom

 The Town of Bascom proposes to amend its
Comprehensive Plan Capital Improvements
Element. The amendment updates the Capital
Improvement Plan and Schedule of Capital
Improvements as required by Part II, Chapter
163, Florida Statutes. A public hearing to .
consider the adoption of the proposed
amendment will be held on November 13,
2008 .at 6:00 p.m. (CDST), or as soon as can
be heard in the Meeting Hall, 4969 Basswood
Road, Bascom, FL.

 More information can be obtained and the
proposed land use change may be inspected at
Bascom Town Hall, 4969 Basswood Road,
Bascom, FL 32423
(telephone: 850-569-2007).

 Persons wishing to comment may do so in
person at the public hearing or by writing to
the Town of Bascom, 4969 Basswood Road,
Bascom, Florida 32423.

 If an individual decides to appeal any
decision made by the commission with
respect to this meeting, a verbatim transcript
may be required. If so, the individual should
make provision for a transcript to be made at
the meeting, (RE: Florida Statute 286.0105).
