INFO BEAT FEAST Tampa Bay FEAST, the first innovative micro-funding dinner in support of Bay Area artists will be Friday, September 16, in the Tampa Museum of Art. Guests at FEAST will review and select grant recipients while enjoying a delicious three-course meal, courtesy of SONO, one of Tampa's best cafe restaurants. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail and social hour with the artists and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. for $40, $50 with wine. Tickets may be reserved at www.feasttampabay.org. During the dinner, three artists will present their projects that are in need of monetary help in order to get started. A portion of the price of each meal is collected to create a grant of $500-$750, awarded to one of the presenting artists of the night. At the end of the dinner, the audience votes for their favorite project, and the artist with the most votes receives the grant. FEAST is part of a larger, "Think Small to Think Big" pro- gram, which provides microfunding solutions to local artists in the Tampa Bay area, introducing a new way of thinking about finances and expansion of the area's developing arts community.
