The Caring for the Caregiver program helps cancer caregivers manage the side effects of treatment, as well as understand the role of nutrition, how cancer affects the family and how to manage stress. Carlton Fields' Amy Leigh Carstensen and DLA Piper's Christina Burden co-chlair the 2007-2008 HCBA Community Liaison Com- mittee. Other committee members include: Su- san Sandler, Veronica Prostko, Mary Thomas, Bill Coffman, and Paul Suppicich. The committee spearheads a fund drive to purchase books for students in Head Start facilities throughout Hillsborough County. This year the committee surpassed their goal and raised enough funds to purchase one book for every child enrolled in the Head Start program. The committee then recruits HCBA attorneys to personally visit the Head Start classes, deliver the books, and read to the children for one hour. The goal of the project is to promote literacy and a love for reading by putting books in the hands of young children and reading to them. Each child takes home the book they selected. Tampa Public Art Committee Larry Wilder, president of WilderArchitec- ture, Inc. was appointed by Mayor Pam lorio to the City of Tampa Public Art Committee. His term will expire in March 2012. The mission of the seven member committee is to promote the involvement of artists in projects that en- hance the physical environment and celebrate Tampa's unique character and identity. USF Center for Entrepeneurship The USF Center for Entrepreneurship has appointed Jason Liu to their Advisory Board for a three-year term. The Center for Entrepre- neurship is a multi-disciplinary, campus-wide center focusing on entrepreneurial education, training, and research. According to the Princ- eton Review and Entrepreneur Magazine, USF has the ninth best graduate entrepreneurship program in the nation for 2007. Liu was a Kauffman Entrepreneur Intern for the Center for Entrepreneurship in 2003, and a graduate research assistant from 2003- 2004.
