FAS President Dave Burns gave the following remarks: It is an honor for me to present this plaque to Sheila K. Stewart for her years of dedicated and loyal service to FAS, the Board, and me in helping to make this a much better society. It is a rare opportunity to be able to thank someone publicly for believing in them, giving valuable advice and direction, and providing invaluable opportunities at Weedon Island and elsewhere. For these I thank you, and for allowing me to believe in myself and achieving what I have so far. Without your support, I would not be standing here tonight.
