Pests Controlled

 The following are a few of the pests controlled by Meth-O-Gas as shown on the specimen

label: termites, powder post beetle, round and flat headed beetles, carpenter ants and bark

beetles, drugstore beetle, cigarette beetle, tobacco beetle, tobacco moth, pink bollworm, boll

weevil, cockroaches, silverfish, death watch beetle, confused flour beetle, rice weevil, granary

weevil, saw toothed grain beetle, rusty grain beetle, lesser grain borer, cadelle, khapra beetle,

larder beetle, carpet beetle, copra beetle, coffee bean weevil, groundnut bruchid, common bean

weevil, and dried fruit beetle.


Terr-O-Gas

 The following information is for Terr-O-Gas 67 which contains 67% methyl bromide and

33% chloropicrin. Terr-O-Gas 67 is listed for use as a preplant fumigation only in the

production of asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, eggplants, lettuce, muskmelon, onion (dry bulb),

peppers, pineapples, strawberries, tomatoes, and Florida citrus. Terr-O-Gas can also be used

in nursery and greenhouse soils, seed and transplant beds and turf for non-food crops, tobacco,

and greenhouse tomato production (Terr-O-Gas specimen label). The following is a list of some
