APPENDIX A LIST OF COMMON METHYL BROMIDE FORMULATIONS The following is a list of some common formulations of methyl bromide used in Florida, including Brom-O-Gas, Meth-O-Gas, and Terr-O-Gas. The information below includes the uses, EPA registration numbers, and pests controlled. Chloropicrin has also been included due to the various formulations of methyl bromide that include chloropicrin as a constituent. Brom-O-Gas According to the specimen label, as a soil fumigant, Bromo-O-Gas can be used for the following: "pepper, tomatoes, eggplant, strawberry, muskmelon, asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce, onion (dry bulb), pineapples, Florida citrus, citrus, vineyards, deciduous fruits and nuts, nursery and greenhouse soils, seed and transplant beds, turf including non-food crops, and tobacco and tomato as a greenhouse production. This chemical can also be used to treat lumber and wood products, baled tobacco, baled cotton, potting soil, structural dwellings, warehouses (empty), feed rooms (empty), grain bins (empty), green house (empty) mushroom (empty), poultry (empty), bags, boxes, crates (empty) and used tires".
