Those who are here depressed by affliction,
may look for comfort from God.

Further, he said, ‘‘ Blessed are the meek:
for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are
they which do hunger and thirst after righteous-
ness: for they shall be filled.
merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.”

Thus it will be seen he taught his followers
that meekness would have its reward; that
mortals who seek to be good, shall not seek in
