ANNY anp Artuur were the two

eldest children of Mr. and Mrs. _

Reynolds. Fanny was rather more than
eleven years old, and Arthur was just
ten. They had also several little brothers
and sisters, Walter and Tom, and Lucy,
and Carey, the baby; but it is of Fanny
and Arthur that I wish to speak particularly
in this little book. ‘ You must understand,
that although Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds
lived in London, yet their eldest child
