New York Department of Education The first work on the state and local literature component of the USAIN National Preservation Program for Agricultural Sciences Literature was funded by Coordinated Preservation Grant from the New York State Department of Education from 1989/90 1991/92 in the amount of $155,099. This enabled Comell University to develop and implement the selection methodology and microfilm 25% of New York's top-ranked monographs and serials, thus laying the foundation for this component of the USAIN National Preservation Program. 2. National Endowment for the Humanities Phase 1 of the proposed Phase 2 project was funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities for a period of two years, July 1996 June 1998 in the amount of $850,000. This enabled nine states to proceed to replicate the methodology developed by Cornell in the previously cited grant.
