I have received your request for a waiver of indirect costs on your $20,572 proposal with NEH, a
collaborative preservation project to microfilm agricultural literature. I agree to waive indirect
costs since the nine other institutions involved are not charging indirect. In addition, I think this
project will benefit the University and state as a whole. Please be advised, however, that future
proposals should use the standard 35% rate.
