 The University of Hawai'i at Mdnoa Library is pleased to have the opportunity to
collaborate with Cornell University and other participating land grant colleges in
submitting a grant to the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). Enclosed is our
final summary project budget for Phase II of the United States Agricultural Information
Network (USAIN) Preservation Project: Preserving the History of United States Agriculture
and Rural Life: State and Local Literature, 1820-1945.

 The University of Hawaii Office of Research Services has agreed to waive indirect
costs in favor of allowing an equal sum to be used to meet the NEH cost-share requirement.
A copy of the University's indirect cost policy is enclosed.
