 Dear Mr. Demas:

 This letter is written in regard to the USAIN proposal that the Mullins Library, University
 of Arkansas, Fayetteville, has been working on. We are very much interested in participating in the
 project. Attached you will find a copy of the final summary project budget, with information
 identifying a per volume cost.

 The University agrees to waive indirect costs, thereby allowing an equal sum to be used to
 meet the National Endowment for the Humanities' cost-share requirement of 33 percent. The
 indirect cost which would be applied to this proposal is $8,513 (32% X $26,603). Additional funds
 (salary and fringe benefits) will be provided as needed for required cost sharing. Also enclosed is
 a copy of our indirect costs negotiated agreement.
