CHARITY.

Cuariry is that kindness of heart which
makes us desirous of rendering others happy.
It is one of the greatest of virtues, and with-
out. it, no one can be good. It is a pure
love of mankind, and of all things that live,
and breathe, and feel. It isa beautiful sen-
timent, and in the sight of God is of more
value than all the gold and silver of this
world, It is indeed the pearl of great price:
