THE AMERICAN PARTRIDGE, OR QUAIL. Tue call of the Partridge or Quail, is well-known in parts of the United States, and bears much resemblance to the sound of the words “ Bob White.” This bird is the favorite of sportsmen and is considered excellent eating.
