The milk is excellent, and has been very
beneficial to consumptive persons. But
the skin is the most valuable part of the
animal. It is prepared for a number of
purposes, and takes the name of morocco.
The tallow of the Goat is also very impor-
tant, and it is preferred to that of the ox
or sheep. There are various species of
Goats. The Cashmere Goat is found in
the kingdom of Cashmere, and has long,
fine, silky hair. The Rocky Mountain
Goat is a very hardy species, about the
size of a common Goat.
