differs much from the male, is shorter
and smaller, resembles the deer and has
no horns. The young Nyl-Ghau is like
a fawn. The flesh of the Nyl-Ghau is
sweet and nourishing, and on this account,
the animal is highly prized by the people
of the country where it is found. It is
hunted in the same manner as the deer
in other parts of the world, and can lead
the hunters a long chase, being very swift
on foot. .
