THE GRIZZLY BEAR. Tus Grizzly Bear is the most ferocious of all the wild animals of North America. He is about seven feet in length and four and a half in height. They have been found of the enormous weight of two thousand pounds. The forehead of the Grizzly Bear is high, and his muzzle nar- row, flat, and long. His feet are very large, the breadth of the fore foot exceed- ing nine inches; and the hind ones are much larger. The general color of this animal is a blackish-brown, grizzled with light grey.
