The values of streamflow, except those for Econfina Creek, are estimated from short-term continuous discharge records or from periodic discharge measurements. The low flow of a stream without storage reservoirs limits its use. Much more water can be taken from streams if storage reservoirs are available from which to draw during periods of extreme low flows. The flow chart in figure 9 shows the streamflow pattern of the basin. The average flow of Econfina Creek is 355 mgd, by far the largest of all the streams.
