Reliability
Cohen's kappa (1960) and intraclass correlations (P) were computed to determine the reliability of the parent and child categories of DPICS II. Reliability estimates were obtained for both groups in the three DPICS-II situations on 30% of the segments observed by both the reliability and primary coders. The kappa statistics were computed using a computer software program developed specifically for the DPICS-II (Eyberg & Celebi, 1993).
