CHILD LABOR

 Each record of work -iven to a homeworker must have stamped upon
it in red ink immediately above the ooint at which the homeworker is re-
quired to sign for the work, the following words; "1 agree not to per-
mit any child under sixteen years of age to perform anv work on these
goods."



 C01TRACTORS

 Each manufacturer as far as is practicable should not employ con-
tractors on crochet beading. Tf, however, such contractors are employed,
the price fixed by the Code Authority for such homework is the rice that
must be :-aid to the horeworker by the contractor, and no contractor shall
withhold any oart of the rice fixed for such homework.



 COMPLIAITCE

 The Code Directors, in order to maintain the minimum wage for home-
workers and to prevent the emolovnent of child labor in the industry, will
enforce strict compliance by menufacturere and homDowork4rir with the codA
for the industry.
