By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me under
Title I of the National Industrial Rc-covery Act of June 16, 1933
(ch 90, Stat. 195), and in order to effectutc the purposes of
said title, I hereby prescribe the following rule a.nd regula-
tion:

 ITo employer subject to a co'.e of fair competition
 apx-roved, under said titlc shall dismiss or demote
 any enrployee for rmakirg a complaint or giving evi-
 dence with respect to an -lleged violation of the
 provisions of any code of fair competition approved
 under said title,

 All persons are hereby informed that section 10 (a)
 of the National Industrial Recovery Act prescribes
 a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars (1500) or
 imprisonment not to exceed six (6) months, or both,
 for the violation of any rule or regulation prescribed
 under the authority of s-id. section 10 (r.).
