Oakland Estates-Avi- va. Oriole-Scopus, Planlation- Kavanah. Plantation-L'Chayim, Pompano Beach-Chai. Pompano- Golda Meir. Somerset-Shoshana. Southwest Broward. A joint statement issued by the national Hadassah office in New York and marilyn LeVine. president of the Florida Region, declared, in part. A newly or- ganized Florida Mid Coast Ha- dassah region will create a more cohesive relationship among the 12.000 members now enrolled in Broward County. "We anticipate there will be more regional meetings in this tightly knit area, offering a con- tinuing exchange of ideas, pro- grams and inspiration, all of which will help not only to strengthen Hadassah locally, but will reflect upon the whole of American Hadassah The reor- ganization is long overdue in view of the fantastic growth of the population in Broward County Attending all the planning meetings are representatives of the various existing chapters: Jeanette Alman. Myra Boosin and Ann Cooper of Hallandale; Esther Cannon and Mary Pavony of North Broward: Lillian Pack- er. Ida Cohen and Mollie Lewis of Southwest Broward: Pearl Gol- denberg and Hennie Sellner of Wttt Broward: Helen Kamer. Sara Munter and Frances Vizen- thal of Hollywood: and Josephine Newman and Dori Tarlow of Fort Lauderdale. Elections of officers for the new Florida Mid-Coast region of Ha- dassah will be held at the annual conference of the existing Florida Region, scheduled for April 30, May 1 and 2 at the Bahia Mar Hotel in Fort Lauderdale.
