Delegates meet at the office of the Bureau of Jewish Education
to adopt the accreditation prcqrctm for 28 Jewish schools in
Greater Miami. The program will go into effect in October,
when the list of accredited schools is scheduled for publication
to designate the quality schools in the area. The accreditation
program has been under consideration for the past three years,
involving deliberations by educational directors, rabbis, edu-
cation committees, end the professionals of the Bureau. Seen

Milton Weiss, piesident of Miami Beach Federal Savings and
Loan Association, was the first "pat;ent" when the Heart-
mobile was parked in front of the Federal's main offices at
407 Lincoln Road Mall recently. The test was run by Dr.
Marvin L. Meitus (left), president of the Heart Association of
Greater Miami. Free screening-demonstration six-lead electro-
cardiograms were co-sponsored by Miami Beach Federal
during the first three days of this week. Hundreds of persons
lined up en the Mall to take advantage of the free public
service.
