Honey Cake
4 eggs. 1 cup granulated sugar.

strong black coffee. 2 tablespoons
cognac. 4 tablespoons salad oil.
3'j cups sifted flour. L4 teaspoons
baking powder. 1 teaspoon baking
soda. '4 teaspoon salt. j teaspoon
I soda. teaspoon salt. teaspoon
ginger. la teaspoon cinnamin. 1/8
teaspoon ground cloves. 3/4 cup
chopped nuts not too fine. 1 cup
blanched almonds to be put on top
of cake at regular intervals.
Sift flour, baking powder, bak-
ing soda and spices together. Beat
eggs, gradually add sugar and

in oil. honey, coffee and cognac-
