SMALLPOX.
Although on several recent occasions the European laborers arriving on the Isthmus have sailed from European ports where smallpox is present, and cases have appeared during and immediately after the voyage, yet up to the present time there has been no development of smallpox in the Canal Zone.
GENERAL CONDITIONS.
The general health conditions of the various camps in the Zone are satisfactory and preparations are more complete than at any previous time to meet the coming rainy season, which starts during April.
The attached table is a summary of the routine work accomplished in the Canal Zone during the month:
