and all the brush between the canal bed and the camp has been removed.
At Culebra the clearing of the jungle on the banks of the Rio Grande Reservoir Lake has been completed. Also a large tract of land where the new native town of Culebra is to be located has been cleared of brush. New sewer lines have been installed at Culebra, and the plumbing work and installation of fixtures has made rapid progress.
At Gorgona the clearing of the district between Matachin and Caballo Viejo is almost completed.
SCREENING, REPAIRS, ETC.
The carpenter force has finished the work of protecting screening, repairs, etc. at Tabernilla, and has started work on the, Gorgona District.
