In 2010, U.S. Copyright Office issued an interim rule in "Mandatory Deposit of Published Electronic Works Available Only Online." The rule requires publishers to deposit online-only publications claiming copyright to the Library of Congress, in accordance with the U.S. Copyright Office, within three months of receiving the demand for the deposit. The UF Libraries and ASQ are collaborating to establish a sustainable workflow through the Institutional Repository (IR@UF) where materials added to the IR@UF are also submitted to the U.S. Copyright Office.
